The ceramic grinding mechanism is activated by a simple clockwise turn. The mill is suitable exclusively for black peppercorns or dry rock salt crystals up to 4 mm in size.

Do not use with sea salt, moist salt, dried moist salt, or pink peppercorns. The tighter the grind setting knob is turned, the finer the grind. Do not overtighten to avoid damaging the ceramic grinding mechanism.
