General Terms and Conditions (GTC) for the Online Shop of Table Desires UG
1. Scope
1.1 These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all contracts for the delivery of goods that a consumer or entrepreneur (hereinafter “customer”) concludes via our online shop at www.tabledesires.com.
1.2 A consumer within the meaning of these GTC is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly neither commercial nor part of their self-employed professional activity. An entrepreneur within the meaning of these GTC is a natural or legal person who, when entering into a legal transaction, acts in the exercise of their commercial or self-employed professional activity.
2. Conclusion of contract
2.1 The product presentations in the online shop do not constitute binding offers but serve as an invitation for the customer to submit an offer.
2.2 By completing the ordering process, the customer submits a binding offer to purchase the goods in the shopping cart. We accept this offer by sending an order confirmation or by delivering the goods.
2.3 Order processing and communication generally take place by email. The customer ensures that the email address provided is correct and that they can receive all emails from us.
3. Right of withdrawal
3.1 Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal. The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day on which the customer, or a third party named by the customer, took possession of the goods.

3.3 To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for the customer to send the notification of the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
3.4 The customer bears the direct costs of returning the goods.

4. Prices and terms of payment
4.1 The prices stated in the offers include statutory value added tax.
4.2 The customer can choose from the payment methods offered in the online shop (e.g. credit card, PayPal, Stripe). If external payment services are selected (e.g. PayPal, Stripe), payment is processed by the respective service provider. The applicable terms of payment of the respective service provider must be observed.
5. Delivery and shipping conditions
5.1 Delivery is made to the address specified by the customer. Delivery time and shipping costs are stated during the ordering process.
5.2 If delivery of the goods fails for reasons for which the customer is responsible, the customer bears the resulting costs.
6. Retention of title
The goods remain the property of Table Desires UG until payment has been made in full.
7. Warranty and liability
7.1 The statutory provisions on liability for defects apply.
7.2 In the event of transport damage, the customer is obliged to report it to the delivery agent without delay and to inform us.
7.3 Our liability for damage resulting from slight negligence is excluded, except in the case of injury to life, body or health or in the case of a breach of essential contractual obligations (cardinal obligations).
8. Redemption of gift vouchers
8.1 Vouchers purchased in the online shop can only be redeemed there.
8.2 Gift vouchers and remaining balances can be redeemed until the end of the third year after the date of purchase.

12. Place of jurisdiction and applicable law
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, to the exclusion of the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. The place of jurisdiction for all disputes is Munich, provided the customer is a merchant, a legal entity under public law or a special fund under public law.
